After a tough year, with many children missing out on school-based experiences due to Covid, Wolfdene was finally again able to proudly sponsor swimming lessons for all year one and two students at Cranbourne West Primary. We hope that by sponsoring these lessons, it gives parents and their children the confidence to feel safe in and around the water. The students also get a chance to find new passions and develop their social skills in an exciting and new environment outside the classroom.
Over the course of a few weeks, parents, volunteers and dedicated early learning swimming instructors were seen supervising and guiding 190 ambitious and excited students, helping them learn about water and provide the skills they need to be safe in water.
Wolfdene has been thrilled to hear the positive feedback from these lessons and hopes to see students continuing their swimming journey beyond these lessons.
