Nature’s Classroom

In March, Cranbourne West Primary School held their camping program for students in years 3 to 6. Wolfdene gladly contributed to the school’s Camp Support Fund, which aims to ensure that all students are able to attend the camp.

The school’s camp aims to develop well-rounded, confident and resilient citizens. These camps provide opportunities for students to engage in novel experiences, challenge themselves and build strong positive relationships with their peers outside the classroom.  For many students, this was the first time they have been camping or been away from their families. For others, this was a chance to develop their relationships with staff and other students in a more relaxed environment.

The camps took place at Allambee Camp for the Year 3/4 students, and Lakewood Park Camp for the Year 5/6 students. As seen in the pictures from Allambee Camp, activities included archery, rope climbing, tepee building, among many more, and everyone had a great time.

Wolfdene is excited to be able to help make this happen for so many young children in the community.
