‘AVA I Terraces’ shortlisted for Australian Institute of Architects Awards

Wolfdene’s ‘AVA I’ medium density development has been shortlisted for the Australian Institute of Architects Awards under the Category of ‘Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing’.

The awards program offers an opportunity for public and peer recognition of the innovative work of architects in Victoria. The program also provides the Institute with a valuable mechanism to promote architects and architecture within Victoria, across Australia and internationally. Out of 32 entries within the category, only 11 projects have been shortlisted.

Designed by award winning architects SJB and comprising 18 two storey dwellings seamlessly incorporated into the established Alarah community, ‘AVA I’ features a clever exterior combination of natural and refined finishes.

Contemporary pitched gable roofs offer weather protection and solar shading. Sleek lines, rendered walls, textural brickwork and the natural beauty of warm coloured timbers complete the captivating design.

These superbly designed two and three bedroom homes offer six star living, abundant natural light, functional living areas, master bedrooms with built in robes and ensuite bathrooms and designer kitchens with European appliances.
