Last week our Olympic Ambassador, Morgan Mitchell visited local Wolfdene Community schools in both the South East and West areas of Victoria.
nr
Morgan who left Rio on a high after competing in the 4 x 400 m women’s athletics final spoke to our Wolfdene Community Schools about the importance of emotional wellbeing and need for resilience when training for an event such as the Olympic games.

At the end of each talk, students had the opportunity to ask the famous Olympian questions on how she stayed healthy, fit and motivated. Morgan was able to offer some great heartfelt advice, leaving all in the room inspired.

“It was so great having Morgan out to speak with the kids this last week, I don’t know who loved it more, the kids, the teachers or Morgan herself ” Wolfdene Corporate Social Manager Hannah Parker said.
nr
With an intense training schedule planned for the next four years we are extremely excited to see what’s next for Morgan and know that she has plenty to look forward to in Tokyo.
