Living at Saratoga Point Cook means Joe and Michelle Xerxen have more time on their hands to enjoy the finer things in life. The couple swapped their Seabrook home for a sleek, stylish Saratoga townhouse in April.
“We just love the lifestyle it offers,” Mr Xerxen said. “We really wanted to downsize as we had a large three-bedroom home … that required maintenance.
“I’m nearly 50 now and there are much better things to do than lurk around at home. Now we have time up our sleeve and we can go away for the weekend and do things we didn’t do 10 years ago.”
The Xerxens’ two-storey townhouse, one of 44 in the sold out first release, features a crisp, clean, architecturally designed facade looking over a 1ha park with walking paths, a playground, basketball facilities and barbecues.
Mr Xerxen said they adored their home’s contemporary and comfortable open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, which flows to a balcony with picturesque views.
“On a clear morning, you can see Melbourne city and the tops of the ranges,” Mr Xerxen said.
He said the estate amenities, including a gym, indoor pool, tracks, trails and a childcare centre, were another drawcard. “It really does tick all of the boxes,” Mr Xerxen said.
Developed by Wolfdene, Saratoga Townhouses’ second release, comprising 55 three and four-bedroom homes, is now on the market. Prices start at $452,955. Contact 9246 0448 or visit the display suite on the corner of Hacketts Rd and Featherbrook Drive, Point Cook.
