With term 1 coming to an end, the students in years 5 and 6 at Cranbourne West Primary School got to spend a few days on a ranch in regional Tynong North. The eager students spent 3 days and 2 nights at the beautiful Mill Valley Ranch Camp.
Over the two days, the year 5 and 6 students participated in a multitude of activities including horse riding, canoeing, archery, a full-on commando course and a variety of team-building games. Our photographer snapped some brilliant pictures of the students enjoying these activities and the smiles speak for themselves!
We believe experiences like these are vital for all school students to be able to participate in. School camps provide a fantastic opportunity for children to have an experience outside of their normal routine and away from regular home life, further develop their social skills, interact with their peers in a new environment and build new and exciting friendships.
