Saturday 24th November saw Brompton play host to its first music and arts festival, ‘Brompton Fields’.
Despite the Melbourne weather providing a rather grey setting, there was no stopping our residents and their family and friends from coming down to enjoy the music, food and entertainment.
As guests explored the grounds – stopping in at the gourmet grazing stations – picnic rugs were laid, and the festivities kicked off.
Family friendly activities including BoxWars, The Electric Hoopers, The Huxleys and the Melbourne Football Club footy clinics kept the kids happy, while music by Killing Heidi, China Beach, Lil’ Rosco, Poison Peril and Division 1 were the perfect soundtrack to the event.
As the day progressed, the sun made an appearance, shining down on the amphitheatre just in time to accompany Jon Stevens for his incredibly energetic performance, bringing everyone to their feet to dance and sing along.
