Wolves Riding High!

The Casey BMX Club was again filled with life, playing host to the 2019 Casey Wolfdene BMX Open. Congratulations to all participating riders from our youngest at 3 years old to our oldest competitor at 56! All valuable members of the Casey Wolves family.

It marked the second year that Wolfdene has proudly sponsored Casey BMX Club and participated in its exciting BMX events. The event not only allowed families the opportunity to enjoy a day out, but also provided a place for BMX enthusiasts to test their skills on the banks and shred across the 400-meter track. Seasoned riders can race around Casey’s BMX track in as fast as 40 seconds from the gate drop to the finish line which left riders gasping for air.

More than 1,000 passionate BMX riders and supporters came along to join in the fun and be a part of a strong, healthy and thriving community. The Casey Wolfdene BMX Open had 3 motos and concluded with a finals campaign, which resulted in the top 8 riders of each age group facing off to be crowned champion. Trophies were given to every one of the top 8 competitors and the winner in the professional division took home a $500 gift voucher.

BMX is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia with riders from all abilities able to compete in organised race meets throughout Australia. Be a part of the club’s history and become a member of the Casey BMX Club to enjoy the state-of-the-art facilities at Casey Fields.
