Wolfdene Contributes $100k to the Bushfire Crisis

Like so many Australians, I spent the Christmas/New Year’s period watching on with a sense of disbelief and despair as devastating bushfires raged in Queensland, NSW, South Australia and Victoria.

The scale of the crises is hard to comprehend.

It was reported today that more than 14 million acres have burned so far and we’ve all read or viewed the news showing the impact this has had on townships, homes, individuals, wildlife and wilderness.

Through the devastation has shone countless stories of inspiration especially from those fighting the fires and those directly impacted by them.

Equally inspiring has been the fundraising, donations and general empathy shown by Australian’s from all walks of life.

To play our small part, Wolfdene has contributed $100,000 through the Victorian Country Fire Authority (CFA).

Split across the ‘Bushfire Disaster Appeal’ and the CFA itself, the aim is to provide some support to those communities in immediate need, as well as helping the CFA in its preparation for future fires in the seasons to come.
