CWPS City Camp

Between February 27th and March 1st, the students of Cranbourne West Primary School had the opportunity to independently make their way around the exciting city of Melbourne.

As part of the ‘Learn by Design / Inquiry’ units, the program aimed to show the kids a different side of the community outside of their local space, with experiencing the unknown being a key focus over the 3 days.

The year 5/6 students learnt to use public transport and make their own way to various attractions such as the Old Melbourne Gaol and The Shrine of Remembrance, stopping for a group dinner each evening. Despite the long days in the heat, the feedback from all involved was certainly positive, with many referencing their excitement around trying new things.

Wolfdene looks forward to continuing their partnership with CWPS to enhance student experiences again in the future!
